Papaya puree products and market overview:

When the papaya fruit is ripe enough for harvesting, its skin and seeds are removed before the flesh of the fruit is heated and broken down. The fruit mixture is then pressed through a sieve, resulting in a smooth and luxurious puree.

Subjected to relatively little processing, the papaya puree retains much of the fruit’s nutritional profile, including a high concentration of vitamin C – bringing goodness as well as tropical flavor to your end product.

The preparation process includes washing, deseeding, chopping, refining and packing. In case of aseptic packing, the pulp is sterilized and packed in aseptic bags.

Papaya Washing	Papayas are fed to the plant in cases, bins, bags or in bulk. A comprehensive washing is essential, as large quantities of mud and stones may be transported together with the product.
Papaya deseeding	This flow can be done manually or automatically 1. Manual papaya deseeding platform-----Three-layer platform: upper layer for papaya receiving, Middle layer for papaya half-cutting and deseeding, lower layer for papaya wastes to convey outside 2. Papaya deseeding machine will automatically send papaya - cutting half - deseeding- discharging the puree papaya flesh.
Papaya Crushing	The papayas are chopped before going to the treatment line. The chopping dimensions depend on the required extraction (puree or pressed juice). The chopped papayas are heated in a following flow to soften the fibers and to get consequently the maximum juice yield.
Pre-heater and enzyme deactivation machine	Used for pre-heating,deactivating enzyme and pasteurizing of crushed products.;Adjustable temperature control and automatic return flow function.

Vacuum deaerator	Used in degassing the papaya pulp in vacuum to prevent the oxidization and turning brown, and remove the gas attaching on the suspended particulates. Help to improve the product looking and reduce bubbles for following steps
Homogenizer	The homogenizer can homogenize and fine material liquids or make the material liquids by high-pressured spray. When the material liquid is homogenized under high pressure, the liquid delamination can be prevented or reduced while the fineness, cleanliness, looseness and inner quality can be improved.
Papaya puree Sterilizing and Aseptic Filling	Papaya puree can be sterilized or pasteurized depending by the specific request of the application, by a tubular heat exchanger. In case of sterilization, the product can be filled in aseptic bag in drums or in box thanks to Aseptic Filling Machine (aseptic carton box, aseptic pouches...), while can be filled in drums or in any type of hot or cold filling machine (glass, PET, Can and BIB).
